Elaine W. Degro

Author & Systems Architect

I build structures that hold weight, whether that weight is a growing business or a story that refuses to stay quiet. My work lives at the intersection of infrastructure and voice. I’ve spent over a decade designing systems for founders and executives, and just as long writing about power, grief, reclamation, and becoming. This site is the home of both.Take your time. You’ll find the work here.

Work

With over 17 years of experience supporting founders and executive teams, I design systems that create clarity without killing vision.Through my consultancy, I’ve led operational strategy, built internal infrastructure, managed global teams, and supported high-growth brands through scale and transition.I specialize in:• Systems & Operations Architecture
• Strategic Planning & Execution
• Executive Support & Leadership Infrastructure
• Ghostwriting & Thought Leadership
My approach is simple: structure should serve the mission, not suffocate it.I take on a limited number of consulting engagements each year.If you’re interested in working together, reach out.

About

I’ve always been the one people turn to when something needs to stabilize, rise, or be rebuilt. From corporate boardrooms to founder-led startups, my work has always blended structure with instinct. I understand systems — but I also understand what happens when people are inside them.Agile Executive Services & We, The Women began as an answer to a simple frustration: too many brilliant women scaling businesses inside frameworks that were never built for them. I wanted to design something different, infrastructure that honors ambition without erasing identity.Alongside my consulting work, I write.Poetry and essays are where I explore the parts of power that don’t fit neatly into strategy decks; grief, reclamation, voice, autonomy, survival, becoming.I believe the sacred and the spreadsheet belong in the same room. And I’ve built my life accordingly. In addition to my work in systems and writing, I also hold a Commercial Driver’s License and work in transportation. For me, infrastructure isn’t abstract, it’s physical, operational, and lived. Whether designing internal systems or navigating highways, I value precision, responsibility, and independence.
